Big fan of statistics
It is just about 20 months since I got my camera. At 7 months I was averaging 30 pictures a day. Now I'm just over 17. 10,906 pictures total, all but 600 of which have been taken on my camera. At 9999 it started over its numbering system, which is going to cause a bit of a problem soon.
And I just went through over 1000 pictures, culling and sorting and editing them for storage and posting. Unfortunately, both picpile and uploadimages seem to be down atm, so they will get put up as soon as one of the two starts working for me. Till then, I'm working on getting pictures up on facebook.

So that's my little update, fragmented a bit because it's late and I'm recovering from 4 hours of reading the Demon core. Pictures will be up, sometime, maybe next weekend, perhaps sooner.

None of the rest of the pictures really fall into good catagories...but I'm gonna try anyway.

Of a night
If you follow BSFFA history, you will have seen the pictures from LARPing on Saturday. However, the mask that I was wearing was not the one that I will be wearing from now on, it was borrowed from Lex (who is awesome) for the night because I forgot I needed one. *bows head in shame.* But tonight was mask making night at BSFFA, so I made one that will now be my Scorpion LARP mask. Isn't it pretty?!

Picture post time from College!

I know, it's been a while, but now there will be a bunch. Nineteen, to be exact. There are also a bunch of pictures in bsffa_history, bsffa pictures and soon to be Renn Faire pictures.

Stuff I got!
Now for the 'Cool Things' segment of this photojournal, we have "All the awesome stuff that Matt has gotten in the last few weeks."Collapse )

Matt's Summer, part 3
All righty, here's the second half of the YPPC pics, which is pretty much all I've taken pictures of recently. There's something to be said about spending half your day with the same people every day for a month.

"Ah yes, autumn days are chilly."Collapse )

Matt's Summer, Part 2c
So, here comes the last month in review: YPPC. We sang, we danced, I got two parking tickets, and the first two shows have gone very well, despite some interesting scene changes. But I'm not here to tell you about the shows, because I didn't take pictures for the shows, I took pictures of the actual rehearsals. This is the first part in a two part series of YPPC pictures, basically the first two weeks. The last two weeks haven't been downloaded onto my computer yet, but they should be around soon.

Matt's Summer, part 1.
Man, it's been a long while since I've posted pictures. I know, you all have been pining and all that. *grins* I have been down for a while, first because I didn't take many pictures, and then because our computer died and we had to reformat, which meant that I lost photoshop and Katie has my cd. Now I've got my new computer, and I just need to get the cd back, but in the meantime I've found a handy dandy new Windows Powertoy that lets you resize multiple pictures at once, just by highlighting and right clicking. It is an incredible timesaver, and means that I don't have to have a photo editing suite to resize pictures for posting. So none of these are edited at all, because I can't yet, but they are all resized and it took almost no time.

This'll be a two part post. Part one is my vacation to Florida, with all the cousins and such, plus a few from my visits to Governor's School East. The second post will be from YPPC.

**Edit: I am, as of now, using photobucket to upload these pictures. If I can, I'm just going to use progressive photobucket accounts from now on, unless and until I can get a better uploading system. I loved uploadimages, but recently they have been spotty at best. So we'll see how this system works, and hopefully photobucket allows me to register more then one account for one e-mail address. If not..well, I'll go from there.**

Have fun with these. I'll try to post more, smaller posts once I get a system down.

ENd oF The WOrlD As wE KnoW It - pARt 6a: New York and the real End
So here it is, finally, the end of the world. Er...school and exciting stuff. Not the world. You didn't hear that. Or read...anyway.

Ok, you guys and girls are lucky, I'm breaking this one up. I'm getting tired of uploadimages not working in the morning. So here goes

Prelude
All right, every single one of the pictures in the next five posts has loaded at least once, but upload images doesn't seem to run well in the morning, so if you get a broken link, right click on the red x, click on show picture, and if that doesn't work then try back tonight.

end of the world as we Know it - Part 5?: Anime Con, the few pictures I have
I don't have a whole lot of pictures of Anime con that turned out, I actually left the picture taking to Erica, and I don't think she has posted them yet. (If she has, and I just missed it, during NY trip and all, someone let me know.) Anywhoo, these are the ones I got.

(56k-ers doozy alert code Gray: Anti doozy, 1-6 pictures. Not even reallyworth the warning. Even people working on a 32 bit connection should be able to load these fairly quickly.)

End of The world As we Know it - Part 4: Gradu-freakin'-ation!
All right, finally to the good part, when we all walk across the stage and get our diplomas and all that.

...

Except that those pictures are unpostable right now, because I don't have photoshop up and running, and the pictures are really dark and I have no light adjustment tools on the program I'm using. I'm lucky it can resize pictures at all. So those will have to be posted later. Right now, I just have a bunch of related pictures, from the rehearsal day on Tuesday to hanging out afterwards to standing in line before walking, and all that. So here goes.

(56k-ers doozy alert code Lime: Not muchova doozy, 10-11 pictures. Sorry about yesterday, the persons responsible have been sacked.)

"You're what?! Dude, even deer are like, level 8. That's just sad."Collapse )

End of the World as We Know It - Part 3: Singerage
Now, we have a special feature on the Alderman Studios Senior Recital. Not only did it feature a bunch of people who actually follow this, but also a few people that I've known for a while and don't see very often. Like Roy and Chris. So here they are, mostly from the rehearsal because I couldn't take pictures during the show. Just imagine nice clothes and a microphone.

(56k'ers doozy alert: ough, I've had enough of this, I'm bored. *throws a rainbow at the audience* pick your own color coding, darnit! There's 11 pictures, figure it out!)

End of the World as we Know It - Part 2: Documenting the End
Never have I seen more enthusiasm with signing of yearbooks. I didn't get one this year, partly because I was lazy, and partly because I am poor, and partly because I've never gotten one before and so there was no precedent. Still though, the hype around them this year was big, and there was a lot of time spent on the last few days getting them signed.

(56k-ers doozy alert code Tan: Notta doozy, 6-15 pictures. Just thought I would switch it up a bit. (and I just figured out by experiment that html does recognize "tan" as a color. Coolness.) Even fewer pictures then the last one. Keepin' it ADD.)

Hey this year was fun have an awesome summer keep in touch mattCollapse )
